Hi, I’m Julie Andrews-Lagace, the trainer behind Waggy Butts.

My journey started back in 2011 with German Shepherd Dogs. Working hands‑on with puppies and families quickly taught me that dogs don’t all learn the same way—and a “standard program” rarely fits real life.

Over the years, I’ve earned multiple certifications, including a Diploma in Dog Training/Instruction, Puppy Training specialization, Canine Communication certification, and science‑based dog training credentials, along with advanced education through The Puppy Lab.

All of that shaped the philosophy I use today:
